How to Reach an Advisor
Entry AdvisorsEntry Advisors help new degree/certificate seeking students plan their education and enroll for the first time. They also provide support to new students dealing with first time college fears and concerns.
CounselorsCounselors provide entry advising as well as personal, educational, vocational, and career counseling. They are professionally trained and experienced in counseling and clinical psychology. All information shared during the course of counseling is confidential and released only with student consent.
Program AdvisorsFollowing your initial registration, you will be sent a postcard with information regarding your program advisor. Some faculty also advise developmental and undecided students. Your advisor will meet with you during faculty office hours or by appointment to help you develop your quarterly schedule and advise you about transferring and careers. If your program of study changes, contact an Entry Advisor to discuss your plans and get a new advisor. The Entry Center can help you if you're having trouble reaching your Program Advisor.
