Find out at the Registration Desk how much tuition you would pay. Your tuition rate depends on your resident status. You may even qualify for a waiver of all or part of your tuition.

Next, fill out the FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid. FAFSA determines whether you are eligible for most need-based grants, Work-Study jobs and subsidized loans. LCC’s federal school code is 003782.

Then, complete the Financial Aid Data Sheet online or pick one up at the Financial Aid Office. The Financial Aid staff needs this information to award financial aid.

If you qualify for need-based financial aid, a Work-Study job may be part of your award, with employment either on or off campus. Call 360.442.2393 for more information. Apply for available jobs.

Even if you don’t qualify for need-based financial aid, you may still be able to get a Student Help job here on the LCC campus. Info at 360-442-2393.

If you’re a low-income working parent, you maybe be eligible for state help with tuition, fees and books. Call 360.442.2347 for more information.
