State Support of Higher EducationThe State of Washington covers much of the cost of your community college education.
Instructional costs per fulltime-equivalent student were estimated at $7,041 for the 2008-09 academic year. The state provides $4,852 per resident student FTE, and student tuition covers the remainder. The state is also providing an average of $1,801 in financial aid per resident student for 2008-09.
