LCC offers several ways to learn languages, both on the LCC Campus and at LCC Woodland.  We offer special Spanish classes customized to your workplace, as well as college credit courses in Spanish and French for degree-seeking students.  See LCC's general course schedule.

Workplace Spanish
These custom classes--available on campus, at LCC Woodland, or at your workplace-- teach specific occupational language in a few short seminars scheduled to fit your busy life. The classes use phonics to teach key Spanish phrases pertaining to your business or agency. Students learn to give direct commands, make simple statements to relay directions and information, and ask important questions to solicit "yes" and "no" responses.

Courses are available for law enforcement, firefighters, medical professionals, businesses, office personnel, educators, and more. Materials are provided, including a complete set of CDs to help you learn and remember the special phrases.

This course uses generic Spanish that has been field-tested by Puerto Rican, Columbian, Mexican, and Cuban language specialists.
